Individual & Family Portrait Sessions

Family portrait sessions can be crazy. You get everyone dressed up, piled in the car, and get them to the shoot. That in itself is enough to stress out even the most laid-back of families! So who wants a stuffy, boring session at the mall on top of that? Not this girl...

When you book a family session with me, you can rest assured that it will be relaxed, fun, and natural. My approach is very organic, especially with children. I believe that people are at their most photogenic when they are having a good time, and this is especially true of children. There is posing involved in my sessions, but the main focus is on capturing the little moments in between the poses! My clients leave the session having enjoyed themselves, rather than feeling relieved that it's over.

Each session generally lasts between 45 minutes and 1 1/2 hrs, and yields between 150 and 200 photos. Sessions can be done in my home studio, or on location with nature or the city as a backdrop, or even at your own home! Each and every photo is edited to be the best it can be- I strive to make every single shot a work of art.

So... Now you're wondering, how much? 

For an in-studio session, in my home studio, the session fee is $60 for the sitting fee for up to 3 people. For each additional person, add $5. (There is limited space in my studio, so for larger parties I recommend an on-location shot.)

For an on-location shoot, the session fee is $75 for up to 4 people, and $5 for each additional person. (The extra $15 covers travel costs to and from shoot.)

So... how do you get your photos?

Photos may be ordered directly from my website from the comfort of your own home! (If you require assistance with ordering, we can set up a post- session consultation, and I will help you to complete your order.)

Some options for ordering are:

Digital download of your entire album.... $125. You will receive a full-sized digital copy of your entire library of photos, as well as a license to print them when & where you choose.

Single digital downloads.... $2.00 each

Or, you may order single prints or packages of your favorite images to suit your needs! Lots of options to fit your walls & your wallet!

What types of sessions are included under this heading?

*Individuals
*Children- solo, siblings, cousins
*Maternity- Mommy alone, with Daddy, siblings, etc.

**Note: Family sessions may include various combinations of people in the photos. For instance, a family of two parents and three children may have photos taken all together, some of just the children together, just of the parents together, and individuals of everyone. The overall number of photos will not be increased.
