Newborn Photography- Emma

Isn't she sweet? Like to never got her to sleep... :/  Of all the sessions I've done, newborns are definitely the most difficult- but then I have an excuse to cuddle sweet little babies, so it has it's perks!

Well, folks, I've been off in la-la land for a while, it seems... I have one of those personalities where I get really immersed in a project or idea, work on it incessantly, and then get bored, and almost totally forget about ever having done it... hence, the lull in my blogging! :) So, I'm back, and ready to post more frequently, and all that (for now, anyway!).

I Heart Faces weekly challenge | May Flowers

I remembered to enter the Iheartfaces.com challenge this week, and the theme couldn't have hit at a better time! I was out at my daddy's house on Saturday, and my stepmomma's flower beds are in full bloom! The house {and the flower beds} used to belong to my Mammaw, and being out there, especially when everything is so full in bloom, makes me feel close to her again. I took a ton of pics of irises and peonies, and various other blooms, but my favorite floral shot of the day was this happy little accident! I shot blind up into the bottom of the flowers, and everything about it just makes me say WOW! :) Hope you like it as much as I do!

I took a series of photos of the moon tonight. I set my tripod, positioned the moon in the lower left of my viewfinder, and snapped a shot every 30 seconds for 10 minutes. At the end of 10 minutes, the moon had traveled all the away across to the upper right of the frame! I was messing around in Photoshop with the resulting images, and made this nifty lil gif! :)

I Heart Faces weekly challenge | Sun Flare

When I saw this week's challenge @ Iheartfaces.com, I was way excited, because I JUST took a photo 3 days ago that is perfect! I love the light effect that I caught here. It fanned out just perfectly, to give the photo some texture and a little something extra! I like it that it softened up the photo, as well, and added to the "moment" captured here...
